Why Raw Foods?
Erin's UnBakery specializes in raw vegan desserts and snack items, serving those who desire to incorporate more whole, raw foods into their diet, and those who have allergies and specific dietary needs or preferences.

The question might be instead of "Why raw foods," is why NOT use raw foods? So many creative and delicious ways exist to create natural and health-promoting versions of many favorite desserts!
Do you want raw, vegan chocolate? We use raw cocoa butter, raw sweeteners, and ingredients that have never been heated above 115 degrees. We grind the ingredients down using a stone grinder, and then temper the chocolate and pour it into molds. The end result is a creamy chocolate with heart-healthy fats and sweeteners that are low-glycemic and mineral-rich.
How about cake? Raw vegan cakes have a delicious, cakey texture, and can be made in many ways. One of the methods Erin's UnBakery uses involves a combination of raw, wheat-free flour and plant-based, natural binders to replace the use of eggs. Once set in the fridge, the raw cake is crumbly and sweet, just like baked cake. Other versions may involve creating thin layers of cake that have been dehydrated for a result even closer to baked cakes!
Similar processes can be used to create donuts, brownies, and many other healthy versions of traditional baked goods.
